Baby? Nope. Toddler? Nope. Preschooler? Not anymore. Little girl? Yup. Big girl? Almost!
Just in the last few weeks, it seems like my little girl has turned into such a big kid. She's been saying some pretty 'grown up' things and acting a bit more mature lately. A few nights ago she mastered riding a bike...without training wheels! It took a little convincing by Mommy to remind her that it takes practice and that it's ok if she doesn't get something the first try. But now she's a bike riding pro! She also rode the Iron Dragon at Cedar Point a couple weekends ago...her first 'non-kiddie' coaster! And let's not forget the especially BIG KID event just around the corner...kindergarten!! Eeep! Perhaps she's accomplishing all these 'big kid' things to remind Mommy that she will be JUST FINE in kindergarten? Either way, I am so proud of all of her big kid accomplishments lately and while it's sad that we're getting further and further from the baby years, it's so exciting watching her grow into a little girl...er, big girl. Lately, I keep reminding myself that she's only FIVE...I mean, it's not like she's a teenager or anything. She's still a little girl...and she still has plenty of growing up left to do.
