Well, it came sooner than I thought it would...our first trip to the doctor to check out an injury on our little girl. Thankfully, it was very minor...phew! Ruth was watching Kaitlyn when she called me and said Kaitlyn jumped up on our bed and hurt her leg. She said she jumped and heard a crack and then Kaitlyn started crying. Enter freaked out Mommy here!! Kaitlyn was even limping around. Aww, poor girl. So off to the pediatrician we went...although by the time her appointment rolled around, the limping was gone and her leg seemed much better...but better safe than sorry! So after the doctor checked her out she said she looked ok and that, if anything, it was just a minor knee sprain...few! The good part of this is that now if she starts to jump on the bed we quickly remind her of how she got hurt before and she promptly stops. :o) And she is growing...the scale at the peds office said 32.8 lbs! Wow!
A couple weeks ago we took Kaitlyn and Aundrea bowling...this was Kaitlyn's first time. She seemed to enjoy it, but was ready to go after one game. It was really funny watching her ball roll down the alley...it went SO SLOW that it took forever to get to the pins...one time it went so slowly that when it hit the pins it actually started rolling back toward us down the alley! And another time it had so little speed behind it that Daddy had to walk halfway down the alley and rescue it because we knew it wasn't going to make it to the pins! All in all, a very fun time though!
