Happy Valentine's Day!

No big plans for us for Valentine's Day...just a good meal at home and maybe we'll watch a movie at home. We figure since we're taking a cruise soon, we could just call that our Valentine's Day celebration! I did get Kaitlyn to say Happy Valentine's Day today...although it sounded more like "Happy times day" instead! I did get a few little things for Kaitlyn...some super cute play food that's made out of cloth...it's like a stuffed animal but it's cupcakes, ice cream, bread, sandwich makings, etc...it's super cute! And some Dora ponytail holders! She'll love it, I'm sure!

So, yeah! We get to take another cruise!! When we attended that Chocolate Soiree last month, Wayne won the grand prize and it was a travel voucher, Visa gift card and stay at a Winery...well, we're not huge wine people so we sold that to one of our friends and are using the travel voucher and Visa card to take a cruise to Mexico! And our friends Micah & Kelly are coming with us, so it'll be a blast! We're leaving from Mobile, Alabama and will visit Calica, MX and Cozumel, MX...I can't wait! We will miss Kaitlyn though...she is staying at home with Aunt Ruth, Grandma B. and Grandma M...it'll be hard being away from her, but it'll be nice to have some grown up time too! The best part is the day we get back from our cruise, we're taking her to Sesame Street Live - Elmo's Green Thumb!! She LOVES Elmo and wants all of Sesame Street to be Elmo's World, so hopefully she will be entertained and stay in her seat for the whole show!! I'll be sure to take plenty of snacks to keep her busy!

Today Kaitlyn was coloring on her Aquadoodle and she colored almost the whole thing in and called it a "swimming pool"...then she'd jump on it and say "I jumping in the pool"...then she'd lay down on her belly and kick her arms & legs and say "I swimming in the pool now!" Ha ha! What an imagination! She is starting to say some really long run-on sentences that don't quite make sense...the other morning she said something like "Turn tv on, watch Elmo's World and Abby's Flying Fairy School now soon too"...by far her longest sentence!! It's just funny that she uses "now" AND " soon"...she doesn't get that it's EITHER "now" OR "soon" but not both! Ha! She also made her first 'real' drawling this week...a "happy face!" She draws a circle...which is more like 3 or 4 circles, because once she starts drawing one she just keeps going round and round...then she puts 2 dots for the eyes, sometimes a 3rd dot for a nose...and then a half (or sometimes, whole) circle for the mouth! Now...the average person would look at it and be like "What the heck is that?!" But Mommy & Daddy know what she is going for...plus she calls it "a happy face!" :o)
