First Swim of the Season! YAY SUMMER!

What a Bee-u-tee-ful weekend! I think we're ALL happy that summer is finally here! Here are a few pictures from our first swim of the season today. Kaitlyn was very excited to put on her new bathing suit...she did help pick it out, afterall! And Aunt Ruth got her a new pool that looks like an elephant...the trunk even sprays water!

Here she is chillin' poolside...I love that little happy face girl!! And she loves that hat...she's starting to want to wear it every day!

She spends a lot of time climbing in and then back out again...she has quite the agenda! Get in, get out, get in, fill up water cup, get out, take water cup to slip n slide and dump, get back in pool and repeat! She is very busy, I tell you!

Our neighbor gave us her slip n slide! Kaitlyn didn't get the 'run and slide on your belly' part so much, but she loved jumping on it...and then promptly falling on her tush! Meanwhile, Mommy & Daddy laugh uncontrolably at our daughter! Ha! Anyways, this isn't a great picture, but it made me realize yet AGAIN how big she is getting! THAT looks like a little kid, not a baby!

This is Kaitlyn dolled up for church this morning...Grandma M. got her this cute dress! Now we just have to do something about her uncontrolable curly hair in this high summer humidity!

And I just HAD to put this picture in, even though it was from last weekend. This is Kaitlyn & Gavin at their cookout...they were very busy playing and chasing each other around...aren't they so cute?!

So, there you have it! Tomorrow is Kaitlyn's half birthday...she is 2 and a half already! Sounds like a good excuse to have a cake, or at least some brownies, to me!
