Oopsy, how has another week gone by without me blogging?! It's just been a busy week/weekend! Let's start with the most fun thing first! So we got invited to this Chocolate Soiree thing...it's a benefit put on by the Junior League of Toledo Ladies...and it's pretty swanky and fancy, so of course we had to go shopping for a dress, shoes, suit, etc! I found a gorgeous gown...long and form fitting...black on the top with spaghetti straps and the bottom was silky and changed from black to gray to silver...and Wayne wore a black suit and vest...we both looked HOT if I do say so myself! :o) It was held at at hotel downtown and there was yummy food and TONS of chocolate to sample! There was also a silent auction, which of course we are too broke to bid on! But we did end up buying ONE raffle ticket for the grand prize...and guess what?? WE WON!! Holy crap! We never win ANYTHING!! So we won a trip to a private winery in Napa Valley, California! The thing is...we're not huge wine people...it's yummy and all, but we certainly don't appreciate wine like some folks do...we're just as happy with a $4 bottle of Arbor Mist! So, upon closer inspection of our prize, it's actually just a travel voucher and Visa gift card, so we technically can go anywhere...can you say another cruise?!?! So that's what we're thinking about for now!! We're still working out all the details though...but it's way cool that we won!! The craziest thing is that Wayne somehow knew he was going to win...like he just had a funny feeling, he knew they were going to call his name before walking up to collect the prize!
What else? Kaitlyn is being a ham, as usual...just saying funny things...yesterday I said something about having milk with lunch and she says something like "No, I have juice Mommy"! Demanding much?! Oh and when she toots she now tells us "I farting"...super! Not sure how she learned the word fart because we always call it a toot! She's getting more interested with talking on the phone to people now too...if Daddy or Grandma calls she wants to talk to them...she sang Grandma the ABC's the other day and Grandma was impressed that the letters are becoming more clear...she sings the whole song and just has trouble with "LMNO", "QR" and "T"...pretty cool! Friday we had some of the Mom's Group over to play...that was fun because there were finally some girls! YAY! Of course, at church yesterday, she was the only girl in the 2's room! Ha!
