Ouch, shots!!

Oh boy, it's already time for Kaitlyn's 4 month well check today! The pediatrician said she's doing wonderfully...right on track with everything! Today she weighed 14 lbs 4 oz and is 24 3/4 inches long! She's growing like a little weed...she totally outgrows everything length-wise way before the width fits her! So, the regular check up went great...then the nurse came in to give her those awful shots...ugh...Mommy dreads them! Kaitlyn was a trooper though...2 shots in 1 thigh and 1 shot in the other thigh...this time the nurse did them much faster than before...1 2 3 and it was over with in just a couple minutes! Phew! So, Kaitlyn only had one good whail of a scream and before she settled down from the first shot, the nurse stuck her again and then again...so, she really was only majorly upset one time! But, boy did she scream! Our girl has quite the set of lungs on her and her eyes got so big and then slammed shut! Mommy did a little better this time around too...just a little teary eyed, but no crocodile tears like last time! Phew! Oh, and they said we can start giving her cereal in another month...right off a spoon...that'll be fun! Get the camera ready! :o) Anyways, we're relieved to hear she's doing well...Wayne and I haven't managed to screw up our daughter yet...phew! :o) Ha ha! Last night was fun...Kaitlyn was finally expressing some interest in rolling over...this is new for us! She was on her back kicking her legs up and trying to swing them over so she could end up on her tummy...I helped her a little bit and over she went...but then she was mad about being on her tummy and wanted to get back to her back! Make up your mind! Ha ha! Hopefully soon she'll be able to do it on her own! She just doesn't understand how to use her arms to push herself up...she just lifts them off the floor too...like she's flying like Superman...SuperBaby to the rescue! Ha ha! She's getting so big so fast! It was weird to hear her pediatrician talking about how by our next visit she'll be sitting up on her own and rolling over and reaching for things...crazy! Our little newborn is not a newborn any longer! She's getting to be a big girl already! Amazing how the time has flown by already! We must be having lots of fun!! Oh!! One more thing...I added some pictures on the shutterfly site...all from Easter weekend at Grandma's...Kaitlyn looked so cute in her dress! Adorable!
