Potty Days...

Well, we made it through our first official day of potty training...and we're all still alive! Phew! It was rough though! Our final stats for Day #1 were 6 pee's/poops in the potty and 5 accidents...more accidents than I thought she'd have...but it was a rough start...she seemed whinier and clingier than normal...really, all day long she was telling me "up up mama"...she'd even say that while on the potty or in her high chair eating! Give me a break kid! It was like she was totally rebelling about going to the potty...which was really weird since she'd been doing so well with it the last month or two! So that was frustrating. Daddy even brought me home flowers!!!! It was THAT kind of day! But getting flowers is great...especially when it doesn't happen too often! Thanks hubby! Anyways, today (Day #2) seems to going much better than Day #1...at least today she's not refusing to sit on her potty...I'm trying to let her have accidents (instead of making her go sit on the potty before anything happens) so that she'll get that awful feeling of pee running down her leg...and hopefully decide she doesn't like that feeling...and hopefully end up taking herself to the potty on her own! That's how it's SUPPOSED to work anyways! So...stay tuned for more potty updates!
