Weekend Update...a little late!

Where has this week gone?! Geesh! Here's the mish-mash update from our busy weekend! Saturday we enjoyed the beginning of football season...Kaitlyn says "Go Bucks!" and "touchdown" which is funny because she 'touches down' (the ground) when she says it! Ha...at least she understands what down means, right?! She was all decked out in her Ohio State cheerleader outfit too (so cute!)...it's the same one she wore last year, but this year it fits her much better! See:

Sunday it was off to Dayton to visit Grandma M and to go to Great Aunt Ruth's 80th birthday party. Kaitlyn was a good girl for the car ride...but she didn't fall asleep until we got there! We had a fun time at the party...except the party was held right next to the swimming pool, so Kaitlyn kept saying "pool pool" and we had to keep telling her 'no, we're not going swimming!' I think Grandma had a fun time showing Kaitlyn off to all our family! On Monday morning it was icky and raining so we weren't able to go to the Labor Day parade...I was bummed! But it cleared up later on so we went to the rest of the festivities. It was nice, but Kaitlyn was tired and a little bored...AKA a cranky pants! So we cut that short, got some lunch and then headed for home. She quickly passed out in the car for most of the trip home! YAY!

Another potty update...Kaitlyn is still doing pretty well! She's been going about 3 times a day lately...which is really all we're trying for (after meals)! I keep going back and fourth about what to do next...continue like this 'til she's holding it longer??? Or try undies and see if she learns to hold it longer??? The "books" do not help much with this! Ha!

What else...? Not too much new around here really...we're having a cookout this Saturday...then watching the OSU/USC game...GO BUCKS! And finally going to church again Sunday...we haven't been in like 3 weeks because of being out of town! OH! Lots of new pictures on the Shutterfly site now! Enjoy!
