It really is an adventure! I can't remember the last time I've felt so nervous (that she's not going to 'get it'), anxious (about ruining our carpet) and exhausted by the end of the day! Thankfully, it's getting easier! Day 2 was much better than the previous day...8 successful trips to the potty and 3 accidents...and by the end of the day she was giving more signs of needing to 'go'...which made for less accidents! We even ventured outside to play for a little while without soaking our pants! We also occupied our house-ridden-selves by making some Rice Krispie Treats together...Kaitlyn's first cooking experience! It will be a great memory...I thought she could put the marshmellows into the bowl and count them one by one...but instead Kaitlyn kept trying to eat EVERY marshmellow! So, Mommy put them in the bowl and Kaitlyn helped count them! Then she dumped the cereal into the bowl...that went pretty well, except we lost one cup of krispies on the floor! And then, of course, she stepped on every single one of them while she was 'helping' me clean up the mess! Overall, a very fun time though!
Sneaking some "mo-muh-moes" (marshmellows)...yum!

Helping stir...and snagging a few more marshmellows!
Notice all the Rice Krispies on her chair...

Today, Day 3, was even better...7 successful trips to the potty and only 1 minor accident...she tinkled a little in her undies, but then said "potty!!", so we ran to the bathroom and she finished her business there! Since that she's been telling me "potty" or "poop" before she needs to go potty...which is great, except she doesn't seem to understand the difference between pee and poop...or at least she doesn't have the terminology down yet! We got gutsy today and ventured out on a few VERY QUICK errands...new library books, grocery store to pick up pop and then to our new church to drop off the pop to Daddy. We were gone about 45 minutes and Kaitlyn kept her undies dry! When we got home I told Kaitlyn "Woohoo for dry undies!" and she says "Woohoo, dry undies!" I laughed so hard! Let's hope for another great day tomorrow!!
