Happy Halloween!!

Last night Kaitlyn and I went to a friends' house for a Halloween party...and everyone thought she was adorable! She dressed up as a lavender flower and was so cute...she even kept her flower petal hat on almost the whole time! We played a drawing game and Kaitlyn kept going around collecting everyone's papers and stacking them on the couch. We got home later than bedtime so she promptly crashed in her crib and slept in the next morning...yay!

Here's our little Halloween Flower!
Halloween Day was fun as well! We started it off with our Mom's Group BBC Halloween Party. All the little kids were adorable dressed up! We had some yummy Halloween snacks and even played bowling with a pumpkin! After the party we stopped at Target for the usual stuff and everyone thought my little flower girl was so sweet! :o)

All the kiddo's at our BBC Mom's Group Halloween Party!

Kaitlyn liked this little pumpkin...it was just her size!

Then tonight we headed over to Aunt Ruth's for our annual Halloween party with the family. They WAY decorate for Halloween (in their front yard) and thankfully she wasn't scared of any of the skeletons, ghosts, witches, etc...phew! We took her Trick or Treating for about an hour too and she loved it! She caught on pretty quickly...the first few houses we went to she'd say "Trick or Treat" but then take the candy back out of her little pumpkin...she kept wanting to hold all the candy in her hand! Finally, she learned that the candy stays in the pumpkin...that way you can hold more of it! Ha ha! She was even getting pretty good at saying "Thank You" after receiving the candy! She was getting super tired, so we headed back to Aunt Ruth's house, but then she caught her second wind and starting running around the house with cousin Danielle...they were so cute playing! So all in all, a very fun day! And I'm proud to say we made it through all of these Halloween costume-wearing activities without a potty accident! Which is nearly amazing because it's hard getting all those layers off in a hurry when you gotta go! Ha!

What else is new? Ummm...she's really been...good...lately...as in, well behaved. It's almost eery...like, is she going to whip out some crazy bad behavior as soon as she hits those "terrible two's"?! She's been really fun lately though...singing songs and running around just acting silly...what a ham! She's also becoming more and more of a Daddy's girl...he can't leave the room without getting a hug and kiss...and then another...and then one more...and then one more hug and kiss! It's too cute!
