So yesterday Kaitlyn and I met up with Gavin and his Mommy for some more fun! We took them to this park in Sylvania and first let them play in the sand box...which was sort of new for Kaitlyn, since she's only been in sand a few times on the beach before. We noticed that boys are much more into dirt than girls are! Ha! She didn't seem at all interested in the trucks in the sand box...but she did launch a few handfulls of sand into the air...most of which ended up in her (or Gavin's) eyes! Oopsy! I can see we'll be needing to teach her some sand box etiquette soon! The sand box was fun but she was definitely more interested in the swings and slide on the nearby playground! Then it was time to swim! She had a grand time splashing water all over Mommy. She didn't even mind wearing her life jacket...she actually wanted me to let go of her so she could get 'closer' to the water...she likes to put her face in it! Crazy girl! After swimming we ate some lunch and she played with Gavin a little bit more...then it was back home to snooze...we wore that little girl out!
Speaking of snoozing...URGH! Naps and bedtime have recently become a struggle...who's baby is this?! She is just not having any part of being in her crib lately...I suppose she's 'too busy' to sleep?? She's not teething...she's not sick...she's not hungry or wet when I put her down...so who knows?! Hopefully this will be a phase that doesn't last very long...because it is VERY frustrating...especially when she has always been a great sleeper! Geesh!
Not much going on with Wayne and I...we've been working on 'catching up' around the house...cleaning, bills, all that not-so-fun stuff! But it finally feels like we're making some progress with everything! So far we don't have anything planned for this weekend, so hopefully we can relax and just enjoy some quiet time at home with our little girl! Here are a couple pics from our fun time yesterday!

Taking a break from swimming to enjoy a snack! Check out her cute flower towel!
