Bye Bye Everything!

So Kaitlyn's 'thing' this week is saying "bye bye" to EVERYTHING! When I put her to bed at night now she tells everything in her room bye bye..."bye bye pig, bye bye bear, bye bye chair, bye bye fan, etc"...it's pretty cute...but it seems to make bedtime a bit longer! It's exciting that she's putting two words together more regularily now though...most often with 'bye bye' but sometimes other words too.

Yesterday Kaitlyn and I went to the Maumee Summer Fair...it was very fun but VERY hot! We watched the parade, jumped on bouncy houses and walked around a little bit. We got to meet up with some of our other 'baby friends', Gavin and Jack, too! Here they are anxiously watching the parade!

On our way back to the car Kaitlyn said "bye bye feh (fair)" and once we got in the car she said "bye bye Gadin (Gavin)" which was super cute! She promptly zonked out in the car, but only for 10 minutes 'til we got back home...then do you know what that little stinker did?? She stayed awake ALL day long! I put her down for a nap and she wasn't having any part of it...she blew raspberries, sang and talked to herself, then finally ended up crying...ugh. So of course that left us with a little monster for the rest of the evening! We had to pull out all the strings of 'fun entertainment' to keep her happy...we built a fort, chased her around a bunch and even got her to jump...and she got a LITTLE BIT airborne! Woo! So we survived a no-nap day...phew!

Once again, no progress on the potty...although we haven't been trying much this week...she's lost interest again it seems...ah well. Well, I think that's the update for now!
