Potty Progress?

Slowly but surely, I think we're making some progress with the potty! Lately she seems re-interested in it, so we're running with it...we try to sit her on the potty after breakfast and after dinner/before bed. Monday AND Tuesday she pee'd in her potty...YAY! And after she went yesterday she said "all done"...which makes me think she understands WHY we're sitting on the potty and WHAT we're supposed to be doing there! So that makes me think we're making a little progress...but who knows...tomorrow she may want nothing to do with the potty again...it's all a guessing game it seems!

So last time I posted I wrote about how Kaitlyn likes to climb on this bench to reach the light switches...well, she no longer needs that bench! She can just barely reach the light switches from her tippy toes now to turn them on...but she can't reach it when it's on to turn it off again...I expect our electric bill to increase dramatically now! Other cute things...she's very into giving Daddy kisses before bed now...she'll say "tiss tiss" (AKA kiss) and keep going back to him for 'just one more kiss' over and over...it's so sweet! And she's becoming quite the little singer too...she doesn't sing full songs yet, but she likes to sing parts of them...she'll sing 'row row row boat, meme meme meme meme, dream' (Row Your Boat)...and she likes to sing 'ashes ashes all fall down'! And when she hears the ABC Song she tries to sing along, but says the wrong letters at the wrong time...but it's darn cute anyways! :o)

No plans really for the upcoming weekend. We may check out this little fair going on in Maumee...but otherwise we just hope to relax and get some house-stuff done! It sounds like it's going to be another scorture of a weekend, so maybe we'll just live in our A/C all weekend!
