A Go Go Go Monday!

What a fun and busy day it was yesterday! First we headed to Old Navy to check out the sales...I found a couple cute tops for me and an adorable coat for Kaitlyn for next fall/winter!! I love it! Then it was off to our play date at Gavin's house! The kids had so much fun playing together...each time we get them together it's more and more fun...now they are both walking and so it's more of a game of chase now! Kaitlyn had fun trying out some different toys at Gavin's...who knew she'd like trucks and cop cars with sirens so much?! She really liked this gigantic dump truck and she would get on it and then Gavin pushed her around on it...very cute! We also discovered that Kaitlyn and Gavin both had the same jammies for Christmas...so we just HAD to dress them up and take their pictures together in the same outfit...same size and everything, which is crazy because he is like 6 pounds heavier than Kaitlyn! So we put them in Gavin's little red wagon in front of the Christmas tree and the photo shoot began! They both even kept on the matching santa hats, which surprised both of us Mommies because that did not happen on Christmas day! They did both end up pulling their hats off though, at about the same time, which was cute. So, we stayed there from like 11:30 - 3pm and Kaitlyn had not had a nap yet, so she was exhausted!! She fell asleep within 5 minutes of leaving...good, but bad because now I had to drive around 'til she woke up! Ha ha! So I picked up Wayne and we stopped by Anderson's for some groceries. Then we took the car to the dealership because something is wrong with our tires or balancing or something...but they didn't have time to look at it 'til Wednesday! UGH! And they no longer do rental cars, which totally sucks because now I'll be without a car for a day (hopefully no longer)! Anyways, we're figuring we need 2 new back tires...for our stupid gas sucking SUV that's like $350!!! UGH! Mark my words, the next new car I buy will be something little and cheap!

So, that was our exciting Monday! Tonight we're hoping to make it to the Zoo Lights...FINALLY! The weather just might hold up! And tomorrow night we're headed back over to Gavin's house (He does have parents...Justin & Amanda...lol...) for New Year's Eve...hopefully the babies will go to bed before the ball drops!

Let's see...not much to report in Kaitlyn-Land...her latest game is tickling our toes. If we're sitting on the couch she'll walk over and tickle our toes...and you just have to laugh because it makes her giggle so hard! She also got a couple of shapes into her shape sorter the other day too! She put the square and circle in their respective holes! Pretty good! Not sure if she really 'gets' the different shapes yet, but she did it! Oh, and this is kinda funny too...the last maybe 3 or 4 Sunday's at church I've gotten called back because she keeps pooping while she's in the nursery! I guess that means she's pretty regular since it keeps happening around the same time each day!? Not that she's even close to ready to potty train yet, but maybe that'll help us in the future! Oh and now she seems to be peeing only every 2-3 hours! So, once she is walking really well, maybe I should be on the lookout for potty training readyness signs?!?! It never even crossed my mind to think about that 'til she was closer to the age of 2, but the fact that she's holding it a while is a gooooood thing! :o)

Ok...enough babbling! That's Kaitlyn's job! He he!
