Crazy Weekend...and Week!

I bet you all thought I was MIA, huh? It's just been a crazy last few days! Saturday and Sunday we didn't do much...just some things around the house and our usual poker night Saturday. We also got word that Wayne's other g-ma passed away on Saturday, so that was sad news...the worst part is that we were just down in Tiffin a couple weeks ago and talked about going to visit her, but we didn't and now we're kicking ourselves for that! Anyway, we went to Tiffin on Monday and Tuesday for the viewing, funeral and the wake...a long, boring drive two days in a row...thankfully "Aunt Ruth" watched Kaitlyn for us both days so we didn't have another Tiffin fiasco! :o) Anyways, Sunday night Wayne and I tried to have a date night and go to dinner, but we couldn't find a sitter...so we took Kaitlyn along, which usually works out fine...but not this time! We weren't destined to have a nice date night dinner I guess...before we left Wayne said he wasn't really feeling well, but we went anyways...then as soon as we get there (Texas Roadhouse...mmm!) Kaitlyn started fussing...and fussing and fussing! She wasn't hungry and she didn't need changed...she was just bored and probably tired! So, we inhaled our food and got out of there as fast as possible, without disturbing too many of the other people there! I totally don't want to be the people everyone glares at for having the screaming kid in the restaurant! Fortunately, Kaitlyn is SO CUTE, so everyone just looked at her and went "aw..." :o) Anyways, after we got back from the funeral Tuesday, we went to Oak Openings park (just for somewhere different) and took Kaitlyn for a walk in the stroller...always an enjoyable activity! We are so happy that spring is here...finally! So, that's about it...nothing too exciting...we keep trying to get her to roll over, but no luck yet! She just doesn't seem interested at all! We keep joking that she'll be walking before she learns to roll over! Ha ha! Well, one more week and she'll be 5 months old! Hooray!! :o)
