Kaitlyn's Play Date!
What a fun night! Friday night we had a few couples over for some Mexican food...yummmy! Kaitlyn's little boyfriend Gavin came over for a play date too and they were both so cute together! They are both growing so big (Gavin is a little ahead...he he!) and they are really starting to interact with each other more. They both ended up getting sleepy, just in time for both mommy's and daddy's to eat dinner (good timing!), so they took a little snooze together...their first sleepover! They even slept in the same position...right arm up by the head, left arm down by the side...too cute! Both Amanda (Gavin's mommy) and I kept peeking in on them...seeing the two of them sleeping in the same crib made us appreciate that we each only have one baby to take care of...neither of us could imagine having to take care of twins! One baby is plenty enough! They both woke up about the same time, so we faced them to look at each other...Kaitlyn reached out to Gavin, like she was trying to touch his fuzzy outfit! It was adorable! Anyways, it was a good time for the grown ups and the babies! :o) The last couple of weeks Kaitlyn has been grabbing for her bottle more when we feed her...last night she had a hold of it pretty good and both feedings today she was holding it pretty well too...it's still too heavy when it's full, but once it's about half way, she can hold it up on her own...then once it gets pretty low, we have to help tip it up enough so she isn't sucking in air...but, she's doing a pretty good job of holding it none the less! How exciting to see this little milestones! She's also FINALLY getting the hang of tummy time too...she used to fuss and cry when she was on her belly, but lately (as long as she's in a good mood!) she's been doing pretty well on her tummy...really starting to push up with her arms...yay! Now, if we could just get her to roll over...she doesn't have too much interest in that yet though! Well, I added some more pics to the shutterfly site from the last few days...take a look-see!
