Day Off! Wahoo!
So, I took yesterday off of work! It was nice to have some down time to just relax and get a few things done. I worked with Wayne a little bit, got a little cleaning done, etc. Nothing too exciting. We did run to Target after Wayne got home from work and what a fun trip it was! First we got Kaitlyn a couple new little outfits...Wayne was jealous because yesterday morning Kaitlyn had "Mommy's Girl" jammies on and he said Kaitlyn needs more 'Daddy-wear'! So, off to Target we go for 'Daddy-wear'! So we got her a couple things for summer...as if this child needs any more clothes for right now, but oh well, they were cute and pretty cheap! Hooray for deals! Then Wayne just had to check out the video game section, only to find that this game 'Rock Band' was on sale...this is a game we tried at Kelly's house and I really liked it and Wayne thought it was ok too. So, we ended up getting it...a pricey game, but we thought it'd let us spend some good time together...typically, I have hated the Playstation because Wayne is always playing DUMB shooting games on it and it drives me nuts! But now that we have a game I enjoy too, we'll get to play it together! Fun fun! Any who...so last night we got it hooked up and Kelly and Micah came over for some Rock Band fun! Kaitlyn even enjoyed dancing for a little while, 'til I put her to bed! Kaitlyn is wonderful! She's really developing a personality now...smiling and laughing at us and turning her head away like she's shy...so cute! She's even taking steps...ha ha, don't get ahead of yourselves...we can just hold onto her hands and she'll make her feet take little baby steps...it's so cute. She knows what she's supposed to do with those little feet of hers, she just has NO balance yet! Hopefully, some day! For now, she's really enjoying the Bumbo seat that we're borrowing from a friend. She is so happy being upright and being able to see everything going on...especially the dogs and cats...well, cat...Nemo hasn't introduced himself to Kaitlyn yet...he's still in hiding most of the time! But she loves to grab at Pumpkin's fur and pet him...and he doesn't seem to mind either. Summer is great with Kaitlyn, but Autumn doesn't seem too interested in her...she's just happy as long as she's fed! Any who...Kaitlyn is getting much better taking food off the spoon now. Only a couple more weeks and we get to start the exciting foods...veggies and fruits...mmm! Our little girl is almost 5 1/2 months old already! :o)
