Last night Wayne was putting Kaitlyn to bed and noticed a little lump under her chest. I checked it out and thought it was a swollen limph node or something, but we thought we better call the ped. So I called this morning and they said it is a breast bump...enter worry here...they said watch her to see if she has a fever (she doesn't) and watch it to see if it becomes red or changes size (it's about the size of a penny now - so far no change). Yikes! This sounds a bit like breast cancer to me! Worry worry worry! :o( They said they normally go away in time. So, we'll keep an eye on it. Please hope and pray that this is nothing!!!
On a more upbeat note...Kaitlyn is starting to cruise! She was much more confident at her activity table this morning. She cruised around it twice and then decided she had enough so she starting crying for help to get down! She did great though! Wayne was home this morning with me so we took Kaitlyn to the park...what a beautiful day! Kaitlyn totally snoozed so we looked for buckeyes under the trees...Wayne wants to make a bunch of buckeye necklaces for the game this weekend. So that was fun to spend the morning together. I also had Kaitlyn try her sippy cup again. She actually sucked from it today (hooray!) but most of it dribbled back out of her mouth (doh!), down her chin and onto her bib or shirt! But at least she's sucking and not chomping on it! I also gave her one of those biter biscuits which she fed herself (another hooray!) but boy are those things messy (another doh)! She was pretty much covered in gook from it! Ha ha! So, hopefully she'll get the hang of feeding herself soon. Hopefully I'll have time to hit the grocery store soon to stock up on some treats that are easy for her to feed herself. Well, that's about it...hope everyone gets to enjoy this nice fall-like weather!
